In the middle of picturesque Bayrischzell, only a car drive from Munich, our Alpenrose is located. From here you can discover the region Tegernsee-Schliersee or the nearby Tyrol. Whether you are hiking, cycling, skiing, golfing or participating in one of the local events, the Alpenrose is your perfect starting point.

In our newly designed restaurant and in our Zirbelstub'n we pamper you with creative and traditional Bavarian cuisine. The Alpenrose's inn and hut atmosphere invites you to relax. The charming retro design of the Alpenrose combines a rustic Bavarian lifestyle with the original style of the 50s and 60s. Our 35 cozy, individually furnished rooms are equipped with TV-Flatscreen, seating corner, shower / bath and WC.

Our Architect

In the Alpenrose Bayrischzell, Dirk Wesenfeld has combined the rustic Bavarian lifestyle with the original style of the 50s and 60s. In the resulting inn and hut atmosphere, the guests immediately feel comfortable.

Born in Bad Reichenhall in 1965, Dirk Wesenfeld now lives with his wife in Munich. Through his grandparents and parents, who come from the Bavarian Oberland, he is deeply connected to the region. Mountaineering and skiing are his passion.

Dirk Wesenfeld has been an architect since 1993, and in 2000 he founded his own office in Munich with a partner. He has a wealth of experience in the areas of residential, commercial, gastronomy and hotel. For further information see also www.wesenfeldhoefer.de
